The Nemea Appart'Etud Elypseo residence is in an excellent location near several universities and has fantastic public transport links. It’s made up of 94 cosy flats. These flats are studio flats with a surface area of 20 to 21 m². Every square metre is optimised through clever design. You won’t no need to go down the hall to cook meals in the evening or label your Tupperware in the fridge to keep it safe. You have your own individual kitchenette with a fridge, ceramic hob and microwave. Whether you're the next Jamie Oliver or a microwave meal fan, this is ideal. Hate facing people in the morning before you've had a good shower? Rest assured, you have a proper bathroom with a shower and toilet in your studio. Another tip: if you have a guest, unfold the trundle bed! In two minutes, your single bed becomes a double.
Everything in the residence is designed to make your daily life easy. From cleaning services to the loan of a hoover or iron, or the delivery of a basket of fresh food, there are plenty of practical services on hand. We do everything we can to make sure parents can rest easy and even provide accommodation when they want to visit. The Nemea Elypseo residence is located right next to the German border. For strolls in the sun and revising in the fresh air, you can reach Jardin des Deux Rives in 5 minutes by bike and in 15 minutes you reach a large landscaped park along the Rhine. It's really easy to get to the city centre, as the residence has excellent public transport links (15 min journey). Tram and bus stops are only 300 metres away. The Faculty of Law and Medicine, ESCM Strasbourg, Ecole Supérieure du Professeurs et de l'Education: you can reach the main university campuses and schools in less than 30 minutes. Nothing left in the fridge? A supermarket is a 5-minute walk away.
Want to go out with your classmates, you don't have to trudge for miles! Several nice bars and small restaurants are within a few tram stops of the residence. Love a good show? Cinemas, theatres and concert halls are all nearby. A little tip: remember to take your student card, your wallet will thank you. There’s a lot going on when it comes to culture in Strasbourg. The ‘in’ place to have a drink and listen to music? Place Kléber, just a 15-minute tram ride away. If you fancy shaking your booty ‘til dawn, head for the Krutenau district and nightclubs.

Never been to Strasbourg? You'll love living there. Known as the Venice of the East, Strasbourg has everything to please. Surrounded by flower-bordered canals, the Petite France district has many traditional restaurants, tea rooms and bars. Now's your chance to discover the impressive Notre Dame cathedral and to wander through the narrow streets. From the end of November, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Christmas market with gingerbread and mulled wine stalls - don’t overdo it!
In summer, take a trip with friends along the wine route and admire the region's châteaux along the way. Exams done for the year? Have a picnic in stunning Parc de l’Orangerie. With Docks de l’été, there's even the beach installed in the city. It's not quite the Côte d'Azur, but it's not far off... As for art exhibitions, head for the Museum of Modern Art! You won't be disappointed.
